Open Heavens Guatemala started over 20 years ago by building on an effort by the Gamarro family to help very needy children and families within their community. Currently a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization, the main focus of OHG is education and training in leadership, teamwork, and vocational skills.

OHG has grown over the years into a comprehensive ministry helping to empower the people in the area of Sacatepéquez, a municipality northwest of Guatemala City. In addition to providing tuition, school supplies, food, clothing, hope, and encouragement to many, we have also undertaken several building projects. We are thrilled about our latest endeavor The Dream Center.

Pat enthusiastically participates in many areas of Open Heavens Guatemala, including leading teams to Guatemala annually and participating in building projects.
